Syed Esrak Ahmmed

My full name is Syed Esrak Ahmmed — you will also see it written Syed Ahmmed, Syed Ahmed or just Syed Esrak, and online I have used the handle Seap since school. I trained as a computer engineer and started taking design work in 2016 — logos, banners, thumbnails, then video edits. It paid for itself while I worked in IT and operations: IT supervisor at Mechanic Chai, then operations at Fifo Tech, where I ended up as senior operations executive.

Somewhere in the middle of that I started building websites for people, and one question stuck: why do some pages get found and identical ones don't? That question is basically my career now.

Error House

In 2022 I made it the job and founded Error House. It started in Dhaka doing SEO, WordPress, design and video for small businesses and creators. I moved to the UK, kept the studio running, and now work from Cambridge with clients across the UK, US and Europe. I also work as an executive at MCCS, which keeps me honest about how businesses actually run.

The Paid Hour

Alongside client work I run thepaidhour.com, a resource for UK freelancers on tax, HMRC deadlines and invoicing. It is my own site, my own money and my own mistakes — which makes it the only honest way to test an SEO tactic before charging someone else for it.

How I work

I look before I quote. I give a fixed price in writing. I hand over the source files. And if the thing you are asking for will not solve the problem you have described, I say so in the first email rather than taking the order quietly — it costs me sales and it is the only way this works long term.

I am not an agency and I do not pretend to be one. You deal with me directly, which means fewer people to chase and no account manager translating between you and whoever actually does the work.
