Three things decide whether a video gets views: are people searching for it, does the title make them click, and does YouTube have enough signal to know who to show it to. Everything else is noise.
Most YouTube SEO gigs sell you a list of tags. Tags have been a minor signal for a decade — YouTube reads your title, your description, your thumbnail's click-through rate and your retention curve long before it looks at a tag.
So that is what I work on. I research what your audience is actually searching for, write titles that earn the click rather than just containing the keyword, and structure descriptions so the first two lines do their job. Before you ask.
Will YouTube SEO actually get me more views?
Better search and suggested visibility, yes — that part is within my control. Total views also depend on your thumbnail and whether the video delivers what the title promised. If one of those is the real problem I will say so rather than taking your money quietly.
Do you work with small channels?
Yes, and honestly it matters more when you are small. A large channel gets views from subscribers whatever the title says. A small one lives or dies on search and suggested, which is exactly what this work targets.
Does this work for YouTube Shorts?
Yes, with a different emphasis. Shorts are ranked far more on retention and shares than on search, so the work shifts towards the first two seconds and the title. Tell me which format you post and I will weight it accordingly.
Do you need access to my YouTube channel?
No. Video links, or just the topics if nothing is published yet, are enough. I will never ask for your Google login. You paste the finished titles and descriptions in yourself, or I can send them formatted so it takes two minutes.
Do you design thumbnails?
Not inside the YouTube SEO packages — on the Channel Pack I review your thumbnails and titles together and tell you what to change. If you want thumbnails actually designed, that is the graphic design service.
